JobDescription

dConstruct is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern to design and develop our robotics platform and other devices. You will be working with our software team to test and integrate newhardware and sensors. Additionally, you will be assisting in the design and manufacturing of our products.

Responsibilities

· Design, manufacture, and deploy mechatronic components for our robotics platform and other devices.

· Work closelywith the other engineering teams to gather user requirements.

· Source parts based on design requirements and write documentation for them.

· Ensure hardware components are in good working condition and perform troubleshooting for issues that arise.

Requirements and skills

· (Pursuing) a diploma / bachelor’s degree / master’s in Mechanical, Mechatronics, ElectricalEngineering, or related field

· Good hands-on ability; comfortable with using mechanical tools and machines.

· Experience with parametric 3D CAD software(s).

· Familiar with various robotics systems, motors, actuators, and sensors.

· Familiar with industrial/product design, material design choices, and the respective manufacturing technologies.

· Good to be familiar with industrial product safety standards like CE and UL.
