Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Front-End Intern to assist in implementing our design system. You will work on creating, presenting and documenting reusable interface elements, showcasing their usage through interactive examples. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced engineers, gain practical exposure to front-end development workflows and make a tangible impact on how our web applications are built and maintained.

Responsibilities

1.      Collaborate with designers and engineers to understand design system architecture and translate usage patterns into functional, reusable components.

2.      Build and document interface elements with live, interactive examples and prop-driven variations to demonstrate real-world usage.

3.      Build tooling and starter templates (environment configs, scripts, Git workflows) to accelerate new developer setup.

4.      Refactor and optimize component implementations for consistency, accessibility (a11y) and performance across the platform.

5.      Improve developer experience by streamlining build tooling, automating documentation generation, and enforcing coding standards.

6.      Participate in code reviews andarchitecture discussions to ensure technical alignment and maintain codequality.

Minimum requirements:

·        Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

·        Proficiency in modern web technologies including React, TypeScript and CSS-based styling systems (Tailwind, SCSS).

·        Familiarity with responsive design principles and front-end build tools (Vite)

·        Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.

·        Solid understanding of browser rendering behavior and mobile app development principles.

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·        Previous experience working on projects with a strong emphasis on user experience.

·        Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

·        A burning passion for learning and deep diving into web development.

Good-to-haves:

1.      Familiarity with mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) for building cross-platform mobile applications.

2.      Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies for front-end development.
